181. CHRONICLES OF THE ELDER KUṬAJAPUPPHIYA
(I have seen) the All-Enlightened One with golden skin as bright as the rising sun, observing the direction while moving in the air.
After seeing that the kuṭaja tree had blossomed, had been spread horizontally and vertically, I plucked (the flower) from the tree and offered it to (the Buddha) Phussa.
(Since) I have offered the flower ninety-two kalpas ago, I no longer know suffering; this is the fruit of making offerings to the Buddha.
17 kalpas ago, the seven (with the same name) Pupphita were the Wheel-turning Kings who achieved the seven kinds of treasures and possessed great power.
Four (wisdom) analysis, eight liberation, and six superior wisdom have been (I) attained; I have been practicing the teachings of the Buddha.
The Venerable Elder Kuṭajapupphiya[51] spoke these verses thus.

182. CHRONICLES OF THE ELDER BANDHUJĪVAKA
The All-Enlightened One, the Autonomous One named Siddhattha, is one who has been praised by the virtuous. Accomplished in meditation, he sat in the hills.
While searching for the ultimate flower growing in water at a natural lake, I saw bandhujīvaka flowers nearby.
I have lifted (the flowers) with both hands and have come close to the Great Sage. With pure faith, with joy in mind, I offered (the Buddha) Siddhattha.
(Since) I offered the flower ninety-four kalpas ago, I no longer know suffering; this is the fruit of the flower offering.
Fourteen kalpas ago, I was the sole ruler of the people, a Wheel-turning King named Samuddakappa with great power.
Four (wisdom) analysis, eight liberation, and six superior wisdom have been (I) attained; I have been practicing the teachings of the Buddha.
Venerable Venerable Bandhujīvaka[52] uttered these verses like that.

183. CHRONICLES OF THE ELDER KOṬUMBARIYA
(I have seen the Buddha Sikhī) sitting in the hills is like a burning kaṇikāra tree , like an immeasurable sea, like a vast globe.
Like the purebred bull, he is honored by the assembly of gods. I have become rejoicing, with a rejoicing mind I have come close to the Supreme Being.
After taking out the seven flowers that had been covered with a fine cloth, I offered them to Buddha Sikhī, the kinsman of the world.
(Since) I have offered flowers thirty-one kalpas ago, I no longer know suffering; this is the fruit of making offerings to the Buddha.
Twenty kalpas ago, I was the only Wheel-turning-King by the name of Mahānela, of great authority, of great majesty.
Four (wisdom) analysis, eight liberation, and six superior wisdom have been (I) attained; I have been practicing the teachings of the Buddha.
The Venerable Koṭumbariya[53] spoke these verses thus.

184. CHRONICLES OF THE ELDER PAÑCAHATTHIYA
The Blessed One named Tissa, the world's Chief Elder, the Human Bull, walked on the road, accompanied by the Sravakas.
Five bouquets of lotus flowers and four more have been kept by me. Intending to make an offering to accomplish merit, I picked up the (flowers).
While the Fully Enlightened One, the Supreme Being, the one with bright yellow skin, was walking in the marketplace, illuminated by the Buddha's light, I made an offering (flower) to him.
(Since) I have offered the flower ninety-two kalpas ago, I no longer know suffering; this is the fruit of making offerings to the Buddha.
Thirteen kalpas ago, the five named Usabha were Wheel-turning Kings, accomplished in the seven kinds of treasures, with great power.
Four (wisdom) analysis, eight liberation, and six superior wisdom have been (I) attained; I have been practicing the teachings of the Buddha.
Venerable Venerable Pañcahatthiya[54] uttered these verses like that.

185. CHRONICLES OF THE ELDER ISIMUGGADĀYAKA
(I have seen) the World Leader is like the rising sun, like the sun with white rays, like the shining kakudha tree.
I have ground the peas in pure honey. While standing right at the castle, I made offerings to the relative of the world
There were eight hundred thousand Sravakas of the Buddha present. That dish is filled with bowls of all tastes, but there is so much more to it.
Because of that faith in my mind, motivated by the element of purity, I did not fall into a miserable state for a hundred thousand kalpas.
For forty thousand kalpas, these thirty-eight people had (with) the name Isimugga, they were the mighty Wheel-turning Kings.
Four analytical (wisdom), ―nt― I have practiced the Buddha's teaching.
The Venerable Elder Isimuggadāyaka[55] spoke these verses thus.

186. CHRONICLES OF THE ELDER BODHI-UPAṬṬHĀKA
I was a drummer in the city of Rammavatī. Constantly busy with service work, I have come to the supreme Bodhi tree.
Motivated by the element of purity, I served morning and evening, I did not fall into a miserable state for one thousand eight hundred kalpas.
A thousand and five hundred kalpas ago, I was a ruler of the people named Muraja, a Wheel-turning King of great power.
Four analytical (wisdom), ―nt― I have practiced the Buddha's teaching.
The Venerable Elder Bodhi-upaṭṭhāka[56] spoke these verses thus.

187. CHRONICLES OF ELDER EKACINTIKA
When a deity dies from the group of gods due to the end of his life span, the deities who are rejoicing often utter three words that say:
“ My friend, from here go to the leisurely state of coexistence with humans. Having a human being, you should gain supreme faith in the Dharma .
May that faith of yours be established, rooted, firmly established in the well-proclaimed Dharma, and unshaken for the rest of your life ."
“ Do good deeds with your body, many good deeds with your mouth. Do good deeds with your mind, there is no suffering, no germ of rebirth .
After that, do many good deeds that have the germ of that rebirth by giving. You should also guide other friends into the Dharma, into the holy life .”
Because of this compassion, when knowing that the Deva is dying, the gods often say joyfully: " Go back to the city of gods again ."
At that time, when the assembly of the gods had gathered, there was a wavering in me, saying: " Having passed away from this place, what kind of birth will I go to? ”
After knowing my wavering, the recluse, whose senses had been trained, wanted to help me, so he came to see me.
The Discourse of (Buddha) Padumuttara named Sumana. At that time, he taught the meaning and Dharma, and shocked me.
After listening to his words, I made my mind pure in the Buddha. After paying homage to that wise man, I passed away in that place.
Motivated by the element of purity, I was born in that very place, I did not fall into a miserable state for 100,000 kalpas.
Four analytical (wisdom), ―nt― I have practiced the Buddha's teaching.
The Venerable Elder Ekacintika[57] uttered these verses thus.

188. CHRONICLES OF THE ELDER TIKAṆṆIPUPPHIYA
While being a Celestial Being, I was respected by fairies. I have remembered my past karma, I have remembered the supreme Buddha.
After taking out the tikaṇṇi flower , I purified my own mind and offered it to Buddha Vipassī, the Human Bull.
(Since) I offered the flower ninety-one kalpas ago, I no longer know suffering; this is the fruit of making offerings to the Buddha.
73 kalpas ago, four (with the same) name Ramuttama were the Wheel-turning Kings who achieved the seven kinds of treasures and possessed great power.
Four analytical (wisdom), ―nt― I have practiced the Buddha's teaching.
Venerable Venerable Tikaṇṇipupphiya[58] uttered these verses like that.

189. CHRONICLES OF THE ELDER EKACĀRIYA
At that time, there was a loud voice in the gods in the Dao Loi heaven, saying: " Buddha Nirvana is in the world, and we still have cravings ."
Those Devas were aroused by shock, possessed by the arrow of sorrow. Supported by my own strength, I came close to the Buddha.
I took the soft mandārava flower that had been manifested, which I offered to the Buddha at the time of his passing away from Nirvana.
At that time, all the gods and fairies rejoiced with me. I have not fallen into a miserable state for a hundred thousand kalpas.
Sixty thousand kalpas ago, these sixteen (same) Mahā-mallajana people were the mighty Wheel-turning Kings.
Four analytical (wisdom), ―nt― I have practiced the Buddha's teaching.
The Venerable Elder Ekacāriya[59] spoke these verses thus.

190. CHRONICLES OF THE ELDER TIVAṆṬIPUPPHIYA
Overpowered by (defilements), they all went together to see me and meditate. While they were meditating, anger arose.
At that time, a person named Sunanda, the Voice of the Wise Buddha Dhammadassī, went to see me.
At that time, those who had a life attached to me, those people offered flowers to me. I took that flower and offered it to the Sacred Man.
I here passed away and was also reborn in that place again. I have not gone to the lower realms in one thousand eight hundred kalpas.
In the past 1,300 kalpas ago, eight (same) names Dhūmaketu were Wheel-turning Kings who accomplished seven kinds of treasures and possessed great power.
Four analytical (wisdom), ―nt― I have practiced the Buddha's teaching.
The Venerable Elder Tivaṇṭipupphiya[60] spoke these verses like that.
The record of the elder Tivaṇṭipupphiya is the tenth part.

SUMMARY
The flower kuṭaja , the taste of the bandhujīva flower , the koṭumbara flower , the bouquet of flowers , the pea , the Bodhi tree , the one who thinks once , the tikaṇṇi flower , the one act of behavior , the tivaṇṭi flower ; (total) sixty-two verses have been narrated.
