61. CHRONICLES OF THE ELDER SAKACINTANIYA
I have seen the vast, dense forest, quiet and undisturbed, the place where the hermits live, the place where the offerings are received.
After making the sand stupa, I sprinkled many different kinds of flowers. I paid homage to (the stupa) that was created as (to) the Fully Enlightened One in front of me.
Being the king who has attained the seven kinds of treasures, the lord of the land, I am satisfied with my own karma; this is the fruit of making offerings to the stupa.
(Since) I offered the flower ninety-one kalpas ago, I no longer know suffering; this is the fruit of making offerings to the stupa.
(Formerly) eighty kalpas, I was the Wheel-turning King Anantayasa accomplished with the seven kinds of treasures, the lord of the four continents.
Four analytical (wisdom), ―nt― I have practiced the Buddha's teaching.
The Venerable Thera Sakacintaniya[8] spoke these verses thus.

62. CHRONICLES OF ELDER AVOPUPPHIYA
After leaving the residence and stepping up on the walking path, while proclaiming the four Truths, His Holiness preached on the path of the Immortal.
Recognizing the voice of such a Sikhī as the supreme Buddha, I picked up various flowers and threw them in the air.
By doing so in the Lord of men, the Most High of the world, the Human Ox, after renouncing superiority and inferiority I attained the status of Immovable.
(Since) I offered the flower thirty-one kalpas ago, I no longer know suffering; this is the fruit of the flower offering.
Twenty kalpas ago, (I was) a kingslayer named Sumedha, a Wheel-turner, accomplished in the seven kinds of treasures, of great power.
Four analytical (wisdom), ―nt― I have practiced the Buddha's teaching.
The Venerable Elder Avopupphiya uttered these verses thus.

63. CHRONICLES OF ELDER PACCĀGAMANIYA
At that time, I was a red goose on the banks of the Sindhu river. And I have well guarded against evil, having the pure food of herbs in the water.
I saw the Buddha, the Immaculate One, moving in the air. I plucked the sālā flower with my beak and offered it to (the Buddha) Vipassī.
“ Whoever has faith in the Tathagata that is not shaken is well established, and because of that faith in his heart, he does not go to suffering .”
Indeed, I have succeeded perfectly in the manifestation of the supreme Buddha. Good seeds were planted by me while I was a bird.
(Since) I offered the flower ninety-one kalpas ago, I no longer know suffering; this is the fruit of the flower offering.
(Formerly) seventeen kalpas, these eight had the same name, Sucāru-dassana. They were already mighty Kings of Wheels.
Four analytical (wisdom), ―nt― I have practiced the Buddha's teaching.
Venerable Venerable Paccāgamaniya[9] spoke these verses like that.

64. CHRONICLES OF ELDER PARAPPASĀDAKA
“ Who has seen the All-Enlightened One with the bright yellow skin, the noble and noble Hero, the Great Hermit, the Conqueror, without having faith?
Just as the Himalayas are immeasurable, just as the sea is insurmountable, likewise regarding the Buddha's meditation, who is one who sees it and does not have faith?
Just as the earth with its diverse forest belt is immeasurable, likewise the Buddha's precepts, who is the one who sees without having faith?
Just as space is undisturbed, just as the sky is immeasurable, likewise of the Buddha's wisdom, who is one who sees without having faith? ”
The brahmin named Sena praised the supreme Buddha, the undefeatable Siddhattha, with these four verses.
(He) has not gone to a miserable state in ninety-four kalpas, has enjoyed not a few good attainments in the heavenly realms.
After praising the World Leader ninety-four kalpas ago, I no longer knew suffering; this is the fruit of praise.
(Previously) fourteen kalpas, there were four Uggatas who were Wheel-turning Kings who attained the seven kinds of treasures and possessed great power.
Four (wisdom) analysis, eight liberation, and six superior wisdom have been (I) attained; I have been practicing the teachings of the Buddha.
The Venerable Elder Parappasādaka [10] uttered these verses thus.

65. CHRONICLES OF THE ELDER BHISADĀYAKA
The one named Vessabhū was already the third among the Hermits.[11] The Supreme Being has gone deep into the forest and has dwelt in the jungle.
I took the lotus root and tuber and went close to the Buddha. Having gained my faith, I personally offered it to the Buddha.
And by the trunk I was collided with the noble Enlightenment Vessabhū. I have not known any happiness equal to or greater than that.
(This is) my last time in transmigration, all beings have been wiped away. Good things were planted by me while I was a dragon statue.
Since I had done that 31 kalpas ago, I no longer know suffering; this is the fruit of the offering of lotus root.
And (before) thirteen kalpas, there were sixteen kings named Samodhāna who were the rulers of mankind, the Wheel-turning Kings of great power.
Four analytical (wisdom), ―nt― I have practiced the Buddha's teaching.
The Venerable Bhisadāyaka[12] uttered these verses thus.

66. CHRONICLES OF ELDER SUCINTITA
I was a person (hunter) who wandered through the rugged areas of the mountains. Just like a lion was born well, I kill wild animals and live in the hills.
As for the Blessed One Atthadassī, the All-Knowing, the noble one among the preachers, intending to help me he went to the highest mountain.
After killing the spotted deer, I went to eat the meat. At that time, the Blessed One, while begging for food, approached.
I took delicious pieces of meat and made offerings to that Guru. At that time, while helping me to attain Nirvana, the Great Hero spoke a word of rejoicing.
Because of that confidence in my mind, I entered the treacherous area of the mountain. Having caused rapture to arise, I passed away in that place.
Because of that offering of meat and by the vows of my mind, I was happy in the world of gods for one thousand five hundred kalpas.
Because of that same meat offering and the remembrance of the Buddha, for the rest of my lifetimes good deeds have been accumulated by me.
(Formerly) thirty-eight kalpas, there were eight named Dīghāyu. Six thousand kalpas ago, there were two named Varuṇa.

The Venerable thera Sucintita[13] uttered these verses thus.

67. CHRONICLES OF THE ELDER VATTHADĀYAKA
At that time, I was already a bird with beautiful colors, the ruler of the human birds. I saw the Buddha of the Immaculate Conception walking on Mount Gandhamādana.
After giving up the human bird form, I took the form of a young man. Like that I offered a cloth to the Sovereign of men.
And after receiving that cloth, the Buddha, the great Leader of the world, the Master standing in the air, uttered this verse:
" By the offering of this cloth and by the vows of the mind, after renouncing the origin of the human bird (that person) will rejoice in the world of the gods ."
And after praising the offering of the cloth, the Blessed One Atthadassī, the World's Most High, the Human Bull, passed away, facing north.
While being born in the realm of existence, I obtained the attainment of cloth, a canopy in the air; this is the fruit of the offering of the cloth.
(Formerly) 36 kalpas, there were seven people named Aruṇaka who were the mighty Wheel-turning Kings, the rulers of mankind.
Four analytical (wisdom), ―nt― I have practiced the Buddha's teaching.
Venerable Venerable Vatthadāyaka[14] uttered these verses like that.

68. CHRONICLES OF THE ELDER AMBADĀYAKA
The Blessed One, Anomadass, who had no seed of rebirth, sat in the hills and spread with boundless worldly loving-kindness.
At that time, I was already the monkey on the supreme Himalayan mountain. After seeing the immeasurable Anoma, I made my mind pure in the Buddha.
At that time, not far from the Himalayas, there were mango trees that were already bearing fruit. I have picked ripe fruit from that place and have offered mangoes and honey.
1405. The Buddha, the Great Wise One, Anomadass made this wish for me, saying: “ Due to both the offering of honey and the offering of this mango , (he) will be happy in the world of the gods. in fifty-seven kalpas, and in the remaining lives there will be alternate reincarnations (between heaven and human realms) .
(He) will cause evil karma to be eradicated through fully ripened enlightened wisdom, will not go to the lower realms, and will burn away defilements .”
I have been trained with the ultimate training by the Great Hermit. After giving up the odds, I attained Immovable status.
(Formerly) seven thousand seven hundred kalpas, those fourteen kings named Ambaṭṭhaja were the Wheel-turning Kings of great power.
Four analytical (wisdom), ―nt― I have practiced the Buddha's teaching.
The Venerable Elder Ambadāyaka[15] spoke these verses thus.

69. CHRONICLES OF ELDER SUMANA
At that time, I was a garland maker named Sumana. I have seen the Buddha, the Immaculate, the recipient of the world's offerings.
I took the supreme jasmine flower with both hands and offered it to Buddha Sikhī, the retinue of the world.
Due to the offering of this flower and due to the aspirational powers of attention, I no longer know suffering; this is the fruit of the flower offering.
(Since) I offered the flower thirty-one kalpas ago, I no longer know suffering; this is the fruit of the flower offering.
(Previously) twenty-six kalpas, there were four kings of great fame as Wheel-turning Kings who accomplished the seven kinds of treasures.
Four analytical (wisdom), ―nt― I have practiced the Buddha's teaching.
The Venerable Sumana said these verses like that.

70. CHRONICLES OF THE ELDER PUPPHACAṄGOṬIYA
(Sikh Buddha) is like a lion whose stature is fearless, like a lion who has been born noble, like a majestic and noble tiger, like a bird of the sublime human bird.
Buddha Sikhī, refuge of the three worlds, lustless, undefeated, great among recluses, sat down, surrounded by the Order of Bhikkhus.
I have placed the finest anoja flower in the chest. With that same chest, I reached the supreme Buddha.
Because of that faith in my heart towards the Lord of men, the Human Bull, after giving up superiority and inferiority I attained the status of Immovable.
Since I had done that thirty-one kalpas ago, I have known no suffering; this is the fruit of making offerings to the Buddha.
(Previously) having completed thirty kalpas, there were five Devabhati who were the Wheel-turning Kings who achieved seven kinds of treasures.
Four analytical (wisdom), ―nt― I have practiced the Buddha's teaching.
Venerable Venerable Pupphacaṅgoṭiya[16] uttered these verses like that.
The record of the elder Pupphacaṅgoṭiya is the tenth part.

SUMMARY
The one who has his thoughts, the Avopupphī, together with the one who has the return, the one who gives confidence to others, the one who offers the lotus root, the one who thinks wisely, the one who offers the cloth, the taste of offering the mango, the taste of Sumana, and also the taste of having the flower chest. (Total) seventy-one verses have been spoken, counted by those who see the benefit.
